My Hobbies and Passions

Scroll down for an in depth look!

After graduating from college, I've found more time to get involved in various hobbies. I've been enjoying getting to explore different aspects of hobbies and sticking with ones I like or moving on and trying to do more.

Not shown here, but I love traveling and have been picking up golf!

2016 Ecoboost Mustang

To date, I've done a lot of work on my car. I perform all routine maintenance, like replacing the brake rotors and pads, replacing wheels + tires to my summer or winter sets, all oil changes. I've also replaced the stock intercooler and installed a cold air intake. My next steps are going to be replacing the downpipe, exhaust, and getting a tune!

1997 Harley Sportster 1200C

My biggest and newest hobby was the recent addition of a motorcycle license and a subsequent motorcycle. I bought a 97' Sportster off of Marketplace and have learned a lot from it! The first lesson I learned is to properly inspect anything you might be buying off of marketplace, as I quickly found numerous issues with  this bike after purchase.

I learned a lot getting this bike up to a safe riding standard. I had to fix a host of problems, such as replacing the rear shocks, fixing the engine from running lean, wiring up turn signals, brake lights, replacing the tires, fuel lines, changing the oil, etc.

I've to date gotten the bike to safe riding point in just a short amount of time in my driveway.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Applying my biomedical engineering schooling and muscle mechanics knowledge to my physical health and strength!

SETTING GOALS

I first set what I wanted my end goal to be, for the past year it has been to maintain muscle mass while losing weight.

DESIGNING SPLITS

With my goals in mind, I design a split to target these goals. Currently, I'm on a 6 day Push-Pull-Legs split with a variety of working loads over the 12 week program.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The hardest part of getting in and staying in shape is holding yourself accountable. I've been able to consistently eat well and maintain my gym schedule for the year.

GETTING RESULTS

So far, my strength has not decreased as my 1RM have stayed the same or slightly improved, but I have lost ~30 lbs since Feb 2023.

Random Projects

Here are some pictures of random projects I've embarked on that have taught me numerous skills.

I made a live edge bar-top for my new apartment in Boston!
